CACI award extends health, safety support at TSA facilities
Contractor will continue providing program management support to develop and maintain an effective safety and health program at the agency.
CACI International Inc. will continue to provide occupational safety and health support services to the Transportation Security Administration under a five-year, $20 million prime contract.
CACI has supported TSA since 2006 as a professional extension of its Occupational Safety Health and Environment office, according to a Feb. 27 company announcement.
The award means CACI will continue providing program management support to help develop, implement and maintain an effective safety and health program at the TSA headquarters, five regional offices and approximately 450 airports and field operations.
The support services include program development and implementation; training development, evaluation and instruction; communications and outreach; technical assistance, inspections and abatement strategies.
CACI, of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 14 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
