A-T Solutions wins $90M contract to support DOD 'Red Team'

A-T Solutions Inc. nabbed a contract with a $90 million ceiling by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency to provide Defense Department Red Team support services, according to a Federal Business Opportunities notice posted Feb. 27.

DTRA performs threat-based Red Team vulnerability analysis of DOD and non-DOD assets, operations, facilities and personnel, according to FBO.

A-T will help with conducting assessments, and technical and home team support. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a five-year base period.

The Red Team performs assessments from an adversarial perspective and uses the full spectrum of identified adversarial capabilities, limited only by restrictions mandated by the customer and legal, safety, and security constraints, to demonstrate exploitation of identified vulnerabilities, according the 2011 FedBizOpps.gov objective notice.

“Adversarial perspectives used by the team range from foreign intelligence services to a well-funded terrorist organization…they provide a true ‘outside looking in’ perspective,” it adds.

The Red Team is structured into four entities: DOD Red Team Leadership, White Cell, Red Cell and Red Fusion Cell.
