She replaces Dennis Stolkey, who was promoted to general manager of HP Enterprise Services, Americas.

Marilyn Crouther has been named senior vice president and general manager of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services, U.S. Public Sector. She replaces Dennis Stolkey, who now leads HP Enterprise Services, Americas region.

Crouther was vice president of finance for the government business, the de facto chief financial officer for HP’s public sector business.

In her new role, she’ll be responsible for growth and strengthening relationships with customers, HP said in an announcement.

Crouther has more than 22 years of experience in the IT industry and has worked on operational and financial improvements for commercial and private sector customers, HP said. She also has experience with strategic planning and execution, client relationships and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

“Marilyn is a results-driven executive who will accelerate our efforts in delivering best-in-class services to government clients while maintaining strong client relationships,” said John Visentin, executive vice president and general manager, HP Enterprise Services. “Marilyn’s significant experience in federal contracting, finance, and serving our clients makes her ideally placed to achieve these efforts.”
