A-T Solutions wins IED analysis job

Under a new contract, A-T Solutions will help the military analyze recovered improvised explosive devices, providing critical information to military and intelligence organizations.

A-T Solutions Inc. has won a three-year, $45.6 million contract for analysis assistance to the Navy.

The award calls for A-T Solutions to help the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division review and analyze recovered improvised explosive devices, according to a Nov. 8 company announcement.

The analyses will provide relevant and timely mission-essential information to military and intelligence organizations for field support in areas of weapons technical intelligence, the announcement said.

A-T Solutions will support operations at the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division at Indian Head, Md., and in forward deployed combined explosive exploitation cells, currently in Afghanistan and Iraq, and potentially in other sites as needed.

In August, A-T Solutions won a four-year $21.9 million contract to support the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training and Evaluation Unit One.

Under that contract, A-T Solutions is providing subject-matter experts experienced in explosive ordnance disposal operations, advanced expeditionary combat shooting skills, improvised explosive device and unexploded ordnance.
