TWD's $121M Navy task order sets company record

TWD, a mid-size communications company in Arlington, Va., will provide the Navy with a broad range of IT services under a $121 million SeaPort-e Task Order, the largest unrestricted task order in the company’s history.

Other support services called for include video teleconferencing, information assurance, certification and accreditation, IT solutions, engineering, and data warehousing and archiving.

The Naval Sea Systems Command task order calls for TWD, a mid-size communications company in Arlington, Va., to work directly with the Command Information Office and provide enterprise IT services and support.

Under the terms of the agreement, TWD and its team will support the command in critical areas including, but not limited to, network architecture and design, systems management and virtualization, IP and PBX telecommunications services.
