SAIC subsidiary CloudShield names new president, COO

Stanley Fleming has joined CloudShield Technologies Inc. as president and chief operating officer.
He will serve as the key strategist and business driver and will be responsible for day-to-day operating activities, including revenue and sales growth for the wholly owned subsidiary of Science Applications International Corp., according to an Oct. 4 company announcement.
Fleming has a strong background in business development, investment analysis and strategy with a proven track record to elevate cyber capabilities that serve diverse markets, including federal and commercial services, the company said.
He previously served as vice president of federal operations at CloudShield, a provider of security solutions to national governments.
Prior to joining CloudShield, Fleming served for more than eight years as senior vice president and chief strategy officer for NANA Development Corp., overseeing business development, corporate strategy, investment analysis, communications and marketing.
Fleming spent 21 years in the Air Force, where among other senior positions, he served as chief of Washington Operations for the White House Communications Agency and supported launch communications for the National Reconnaissance Office.
Fleming received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Air Force Academy, and a master's degree in systems management from the University of Southern California.
