CGI tasked with $64M worth of apps support at EPA
CGI Federal Inc. has won a five-year, $64.5 million task order from the Environmental Protection Agency to provide custom applications management for several critical systems.
CGI Federal Inc. has won a five-year, $64.5 million task order from the Environmental Protection Agency to provide custom applications management.
As a result, CGI Federal, a U.S. operating subsidiary of the CGI Group Inc., will provide production application platform management to support EPA’s primary data center, the National Computing Center, including support for application deployment checklist process, management of numerous applications platforms, and delivery of technical consulting services, according to an Oct. 3 company announcement.
CGI also will maintain the stability of the application infrastructure of many of the agency’s mission-related applications, including the Integrated Compliance Information System, the Water Quality Exchange and the electronic Greenhouse Gas Reporting Tool.
The task order was issued under the multi-vendor, seven-year, $955 million ITS-EPA II Program Blanket Purchase Agreement that was awarded to CGI in 2009.
