Former HUD CFO moves to Grant Thornton

Doug Criscitello, who established the Small Business Administration's CFO office in 1995 and most recently served as CFO of the Department of Housing and Urban Development has joined Grant Thornton LLC as director of the Global Public Sector Practice, reports Federal News Radio.

Criscitello began the new position in September and has held previous posts at PricewaterhouseCoopers, JPMorgan Securities, Inc., the Congressional Budget Office, and the Office of Management and Budget. His position at HUD was appointed and Senate confirmed.

According to its website, Grant Thornton is one of the six global audit, tax and advisory organizations. The company's work includes whitepapers, newsletters, comments to regulatory bodies and webcasts.
