ManTech hit by Anonymous attack; documents reportedly stolen

Find opportunities — and win them.

The hacking group Anonymous claims it has stolen and published files it says come from ManTech International.

Anonymous, the cyber hacking group, claims it has stolen documents from ManTech International Inc. and posted them online, IDG News Service is reporting.

The company is not confirming the attack but has posted a statement: “All organizations attract cyber threats in our highly networked world,” the company said. “Our practice is generally not to comment on reports involving security related matters. However, given current publicity, we wish to assure our customers, employees, shareholders and business partners that ManTech takes seriously recent reports of a cyber threat, and we responsibly and actively address all sources of information about threats to our information and assets and those of our customers.”

Anonymous apparently is upset with the FBI, IDG reports. ManTech recently won a contract to provide cybersecurity services to the FBI.
