SRA work rewarded in $73M DEA recompete win

SRA International Inc. will continue supporting the Drug Enforcement Administration, having successfully won the recompeted 10-year, $72.9 million Firebird Infrastructure Technology Services II contract.

Firebird is an integral part of DEA's technology infrastructure and supports the agency’s core business lines, including investigation, diversion control, forensics, intelligence and support operations, according to an SRA announcement released today.

Under Firebird, SRA will integrate, test and implement evolving capabilities and new and updated technologies, while maintaining system security, availability and reliability.

SRA supports the Firebird program in six key task areas: infrastructure integration, integration and performance testing, managed development environment, deployment project support, labs, and program management, the announcement states.

SRA International, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 30 on Washington Technology’s 2011 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
