Michael Cauldwell will join Xe Services LLC as senior vice president of business development July 11 to focus on expanding the company’s portfolio of government and commercial customers and contributing to Xe’s growth under its new ownership and leadership.
Cauldwell, who most recently served as vice president of competitive operations at BAE Systems, has an exemplary track record of spearheading growth in the defense and technical services industries, according to a July 5 announcement from Xe.
In 2004, he co-founded Command Technologies Inc., an engineering and technology applications company serving a variety of defense and intelligence community customers. The company was later sold to MTC Technologies, where Cauldwell served as executive vice president and group executive.
Investor consortium USTC Holdings LLC, acquired Xe Services, including its main holding, U.S. Training Center Inc., in December 2010.
At that time USTC indicated its desire to rebuild the company, which is now totally divested of its previous leadership, into a new entity with enhanced governance, leadership, accountability and transparency.
Cauldwell’s addition to the management team represents the next step in this new phase of corporate development, the announcement said.
USTC is a global provider of training and technical services focused on counterterrorism, force protection, law enforcement and security operations.
Company clients include the State and Defense departments, the Navy, numerous law enforcement agencies and other government customers.
