Eagle Ray nabs $90M DIA support services contract

Small, woman-owned Eagle Ray Inc. has won a five-year Defense Department contract for IT and technical support worth $90 million.

Eagle Ray Inc. has won a five-year Defense Department contract for IT and technical support worth $90 million.

Under the Enterprise Senior Information Technology Advisors contract from the Defense Intelligence Agency, the small, woman-owned business will provide IT engineering, technical and acquisition support services for the DOD’s Intelligence Information System enterprise.

Services include assistance in IT planning and program management and development, requirements management services and acquisition support, integration and engineering services, systems security and information assurance engineering services, and services in portfolio management and process improvement, according to a July 20 announcement from Eagle Ray.

Eagle Ray has worked with the DIA since 2004, said Babs Doherty, Eagle Ray’s founder, president and CEO, in the announcement.

Eagle Ray’s team includes Aveshka Inc., Axiologic Solutions LLC, Dowless & Associates Inc., Envue Technologies Inc., IT Veterans LLC, KPMG LLP, RTI Consulting LLC; and Spexus Inc.

Founded in 2002, Eagle Ray, of Chantilly, Va., specializes in business transformation services including business process integration, performance measurement, information assurance, independent validation and verification, IT support services and business improvement.
