Carahsoft outfits DOD with cloud-management services
Carahsoft Technology Corp. has won a Defense Department blanket purchase agreement to provide CollabNet cloud software and consulting services and solutions that could be worth as much as $29 million.
Carahsoft Technology Corp. has won a Defense Department blanket purchase agreement for software services and solutions that could be worth as much as $29 million.
Under the Enterprise Software Initiative BPA, Carahsoft will provide CollabNet cloud software and consulting services, including its TeamForge application life cycle management platform, CollabNet Lab Management, training, and other services, according to a company announcement released May 5.
CollabNet TeamForge powers DOD’s Forge.mil initiative, whose mission is to improve the department’s ability to rapidly deliver dependable software, services and systems in support of net-centric operations and warfare, the announcement states.
The five-year BPA is effective through March 30, 2016, and is open for orders from all DOD components including the military departments, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Unified Combatant Commands, the DOD Inspector General’s Office, the U. S. Coast Guard, NATO and the intelligence community, among others.
Carahsoft Technology Corp., of Reston, Va., ranks No. 99 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government contractors.
