A-T Solutions expands reach into intelligence community

A-T Solutions Inc. is strengthening its offerings in the intelligence field with the creation of an Intelligence Solutions Group that will offer professional services and customized technology products to the intelligence community.

The new group will be led by Kent Berner, former chief operating officer at Innovative Technology Systems Inc., an IT company A-T Solutions acquired in December 2010 that specialized in technology solutions for the intelligence community and the Defense Department, according to an A-T Solutions statement released April 5.

As group president, Berner will bring together all A-T Solutions intelligence-focused business into one unit, combining the strengths of the company’s human intelligence (HUMINT) operations, which it gained through the acquisition of Accelligence in 2009 and the engineering and technology capabilities of Innovative Technology Systems.

“Our customers within the intelligence community have a growing need for comprehensive, innovative and highly relevant intelligence solutions and support,” said Dennis Kelly, president and CEO of A-T Solutions. “We’re pleased to establish this new group after having acquired two intelligence community-focused companies. We’ll be leveraging their combined capabilities across our organization into one unit and therefore able to add greater value and delivery of our services and products.”

A-T Solutions, of Vienna, Va., has expertise in counterterrorism and intelligence solutions. Clients include the Defense, Homeland Security, Justice and State departments; federal, state and local law enforcement agencies; first responders; and allied nations.
