Idaho contractor wins DOE contract to upgrade IT program

CRI Advantage Inc. will provide IT support services to the Energy Department under a five-year contract that could be worth as much as $36 million.

CRI will help the department’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer improve its iManage Program by adopting corporate business processes, data consolidation and application integration. The goal is to lower costs and create operational efficiencies, according to a company announcement today.

The iManage program is DOE’s solution for managing enterprisewide systems initiatives and achieving improved financial business efficiencies, integrated budget and performance, and expanded electronic government, CRI said.

The program is a collaborative departmental effort to define and provide a modern, integrated corporate business system.

CRI is the prime contractor on this award with Ernst & Young, Accenture, Edgewater Federal Solutions and eGlobalTech as the subcontractors.

CRI Advantage, of Boise, Idaho, has offices in McLean, Va.

Two years ago, the company was named the DOE Small Business of the Year for its support of the department’s Idaho National Laboratory’s mission objectives and requirements.
