Telos to modernize Air National Guard wireless infrastructure
The company will use commercial technologies to modernize the wireless infrastructure at 10 sites.
Telos Corp. has won a $9.9 million task order to build an information transport system for the Air National Guard.
The order was placed under the Air Force Netcents contract. Telos is one of several prime contractors that hold the Netcents vehicle.
Work on the Air National Guard project will take place at 10 sites and will be done in accordance with Air Force Combat Information Transport System standards.
The information transport system is part of the Defense Department’s Global Information Grid.
Telos’ work will include modernization of wireless local area networks and will create an integrated infrastructure to Air National Guard and Air Force mission requirements, said Ronnie Clark, director of Air National Guard programs for the Telos Secure Networks division.
Telos is based in Ashburn, Va.
