BAE names recent hire to lead geospatial intelligence unit
BAE Systems has tapped newcomer Jordan Becker to lead its geospatial intelligence and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance business unit. He will report to John Gannon, president of the Intelligence and Security sector.

The San Diego-based division, known as GEOINT-ISR, develops and supports software systems for geospatial analysis, mission planning, precision targeting and command and control for the defense and intelligence community, BAE said in an announcement today.
Becker joined BAE Systems as vice president and general manager Nov. 29 after serving as senior vice president and chief technology officer of the Information Technology and Network Services Group at SAIC.
A recognized Internet pioneer, Becker received his master’s degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University. He is a member of the Association of Computing Machinery, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Internet Society.
