CGI’s new awards provide training support for Marines

CGI Federal will provide training support to the Marine Corps under three new USMC wide-range transformation modernization program awards worth a total of $18 million.

The USMC Systems Command Training and Education Command has awarded the subsidiary of CGI Group Inc. an $11 million, three-year prime contract under the company’s Commercial Enterprise Omnibus support services contract.

The two additional awards, worth a combined $7 million, are subcontracts as part of other contractor-led teams. Services will be delivered by CGI Federal and its various Stanley Inc. subsidiaries.

Under the awards, CGI will provide programmatic and training implementation support at various Marine Corps bases and stations, and also program management augmentation to the command’s Range and Training Area Management Division.

The contacts also cover support for counter-improvised explosive devices training, exercises, and range operations at Marine Corps installations and other training sites.

Stanley has been a prime contractor under the Marine Corps Systems Command Commercial Enterprise Omnibus support services BPA contract since 2006.

CGI Group Inc. acquired Stanley Inc., in Arlington, Va., in August for $1.07 billion in cash.
