Science Applications International Corp. will provide software development and technical services to the Securities and Exchange Commission under a three-year task order that has a total value of $10 million.
The task order, awarded under the SEC’s IT Professional Services blanket purchase agreement, calls for SAIC to provide software development, enhancement and maintenance services to the SEC Office of Information Technology, according to a company announcement today.
SAIC also will support the SEC’s development and production environment by performing application development, production support, process management, system integration and maintenance of web-enabled, client-server applications.
The work will be performed primarily in Alexandria, Va.
The Office of Information Technology supports the SEC commission and staff in all aspects of information technology and has overall management responsibility for the commission’s IT program.
The office also operates the Electronic Data Gathering Analysis and Retrieval system (EDGAR), which electronically receives, processes and disseminates more than 500,000 financial statements each year.
