Pragmatics names two C-level executives

As COO, Hall will play a critical role in delivering high-quality products and services and effective operational performance to the portfolio of federal government contracts, according to a statement released today by Pragmatics.
He also will leverage performance and best practices to increase organic growth for the company, which is based in McLean, Va.
Hall replaces former COO Paul Strasser, who joined Dynamics Research Corp. as senior vice president of strategic development in April of this year.
As CFO, Hughes will be responsible for the company’s financial operations, including corporate accounting, financial strategy, and business planning and human resources. He also will oversee tax functions, play a key role in corporate acquisitions, and be instrumental in the company’s preparation for a future initial public offering.
Before joining Pragmatics, Hall spent 18 years at SRA International Inc., serving most recently as senior vice president of the Health and Civil Services Sector. Hall served 14 years as an Army officer before joining SRA.
Hughes previously spent 28 years at SRA, rising to the position of executive vice president of operations and CFO. He successfully transitioned the company through its IPO in 2002, the Pragmatics statement said.
