NCI to help Army improve soldier equipment
NCI Information Systems Inc. will provide a wide range of support services to the Army Program Executive Office Soldier under a new contract.
NCI Information Systems Inc. will provide a wide range of support services to the Army Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier under a $12.7 million contract.
The company will furnish management, logistical and technical engineering support services to PEO Soldier component organizations, the Defense Department said June 9. The services will support technology development efforts that involve soldier protection and equipment, sensors and lasers, weapons, and other aspects.
The company will perform the work at Middle River, Md., and Fort Belvoir, Va.
The Army Research, Development and Engineering Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity.
NCI Information Systems, of Reston, Va., ranks No. 71 on Washington Technology’s 2010 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
