InfoZen to support product testing at Patent Office

InfoZen Inc. will provide verification testing services for new products deployed within the Patent and Trademark Office under a new 10-year, $22 million contract.

InfoZen Inc. will provide verification testing services for new products deployed within the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office under a new 10-year, $22 million contract, the company announced. 

Under the contract, InfoZen will furnish USPTO's Office of the Chief Information Officer with production verification testing and systems assurance services, company officials said in a March 30 announcement. The contract has one base year and nine one-year options.  

The work will include tests intended to assure deployment of quality products into the USPTO operating environment. InfoZen will test custom and commercial applications, service-oriented architectures, infrastructure components and upgrades, new technologies, and testing of documentation used by staff to deploy software.

“The USPTO is enhancing and modernizing its infrastructure to support the global business of patent and trademarks, which is critical to the United States’ ongoing leadership in science and technology,” Raj Ananthanpillai, chairman, chief executive officer and president of InfoZen, said in the announcement.

InfoZen is headquartered in Rockville, Md.
