Sapient Government Services, a division of Sapient Corp., has named Teresa Bozzelli to lead its U.S. government business, effective immediately.
She replaces Cindi Marsden, who is moving on to pursue other opportunities, according to an April 6 company statement.
Bozzelli will become a member of Sapient’s North America leadership team, reporting to Alan Wexler in the company’s Arlington, Va., office.
A former Booz Allen Hamilton executive, Bozzelli is charged with expanding the scale and scope of Sapient’s federal services business and continuing to position Sapient Government Services as a strategic partner to federal clients, the company said.
“By leveraging Sapient’s marketing, creative and technology strengths, Bozzelli will bring increased value of services to the federal government at a time in which it seeks to transform itself and its relationship to citizens,” the statement said.
As a former chief operating officer at IDC Government Insights and vice president and partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, Bozzelli brings more than 20 years of experience as a thought leader and trusted IT adviser.
Bozzelli was the founder of Government Insights, an IDC company established to deliver research and advisory services for information technology trends and innovations specific to the public sector.
Before IDC, Bozzelli was a vice president and partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she orchestrated business development and government contracts delivery across more than 20 government organizations.
