InfoPro wins $57 million CBP support contract
InfoPro Inc. will provide software application and operational maintenance support to the Homeland Security Department under a contract that is worth $57.2 million through August 2012.

Along with its team, InfoPro will engineer, develop and provide operational maintenance applications and systems support services to Customs and Border Protection’s Border Enforcement Management Systems Program Office.
CBP is the unified border agency within DHS charged with the management, control and protection of U.S. borders. The Border Enforcement Management Systems (BEMS) unit supports mission systems, border systems and information dissemination, according to an InfoPro announcement.
Under this award, InfoPro will support approximately 50,000 employees at several CBP offices, external federal agencies or bureaus supporting DHS goals and missions such as the Office of Administration; Office of Border Patrol; Office of Field Operations; Office of Human Resource Management; and Office of Air and Marine Operations, the announcement said.
The InfoPro team includes QinetiQ North America, ViaTech Systems, Inc., and Xterra Corp.
