ATS Corp. taps industry veteran as new COO
Sid Fuchs has been named chief operating officer of ATS Corp., effective April 5, according to a company announcement.
Sid Fuchs has been named chief operating officer of ATS Corp., effective April 5, according to a company announcement.
Fuchs most recently was president and chief executive officer of OAO Technology Solutions, a global provider of information technology services to commercial and government customers.
OAOT was sold to Platinum Equity, a private equity firm, in January.
Prior to OAOT, Fuchs was president of Northrop Grumman Information Technology’s Civilian Agencies Group, a $1.4 billion unit that delivered IT services to the health care, homeland security, public safety and federal civilian markets.
Previously, he was president and CEO of TASC Inc., which at the time was a Northrop Grumman subsidiary providing systems engineering expertise to the intelligence, aerospace and defense markets
Fuchs has also held management positions at Rational Software, Oracle Corp. and Digital Equipment Corp.
Earlier in his career, he worked at the CIA in various operations, engineering and management roles worldwide.
Fuchs is a graduate of Louisiana State University with B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering.
ATS, of McLean, Va., supplies government agencies with various information technology services, including software and systems development, systems integration, infrastructure support, and outsourcing, information sharing and consulting.
