The award from the Bureau of Consular Affairs’ Office of Consular Systems and Technology calls for Vistronix to provide independent verification and validation testing of all bureau applications developed by its software development groups prior to deployment.
The five-year task order stems from the General Services Administration’s Alliant Small Business governmentwide acquisition contract, an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity vehicle.
The Office of Consular Systems and Technology provides the bureau with mission-critical information technology resources.
The Bureau of Consular Affairs’ primary mission is to protect and assist U.S. citizens abroad, to issue passports to U.S. citizens, and to issue immigrant and non-immigrant visas to foreign nationals.
