SRA to assist Transportation Command programs

SRA International will provide support to the Transportation Command under a $9.5 million follow-on contract.

SRA International Inc. will provide analytical and technical support to the Defense Department’s unified command that furnishes land, sea and air transportation under a $9.5 million follow-on contract.

Under the contract, SRA will support the command’s joint training and joint exercise programs and help boost capabilities in other areas, company officials said today. Other capabilities that will receive support are command and control, modeling and simulation, and resource management.

The Transportation Command awarded the Exercise Support Services re-compete contract, which has one base year and four six-month options. The command is located at Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
