A QinetiQ North America unit will furnish intelligence analysis services to a major subordinate command of the Amy Materiel Command under a new contract worth $10.3 million over five years.
Under the contract, QinetiQ’s Analex Corp. will provide a broad range of intelligence analysis support to the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) headquarters at Rock Island Arsenal, Ill., and to select Army field support brigades and subordinate battalions, company officials said today.
The contract also supports ASC’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence and Security, the officials said.
The company has provided similar support to the ASC and its precursor organization, the Army Field Support Command, for the past six and one-half years, the officials said.
ASC provides acquisition, logistics and technology support as necessary to sustain Army and joint forces at the strategic, operational and tactical levels.
Analex is based in Fairfax, Va. The McLean, Va., parent company ranks No. 34 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
