CSC supports Air Force infrastructure and systems
Computer Sciences Corp. will provide applications infrastructure and systems support services to the Air Force under a four-year contract worth up to $50 million.
Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) will provide applications infrastructure and systems support services to the Air Force under a four-year contract worth up to $50 million.
Under the terms of the award from the Air Mobility Command (AMC), CSC will provide technical and support services, including information assurance, development testing, configuration management and training for AMC’s command and control system, company officials said.
Systems and programs in the command and control system include the Advanced Computer Flight Plan, Airlift Service Industrial Fund Integrated Computer System, Commercial Operations Integrated System, Consolidated Air Mobility Planning System, Global Air Transportation Execution System, Worldwide Port System, Global Command and Control System and Global Decision Support System, they explained.
CSC has supported AMC’s command and control system for more than 20 years. Teaming members include Harris Corp., Northrop Grumman, and TRI-COR Industries Inc.
CSC, of Falls Church, Va., ranks No. 9 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
