Alion wins Naval modeling, simulation contract

Alion Science and Technology will provide modeling and simulation services to the Navy under a $49 million contract.

Alion Science and Technology will provide modeling and simulation services to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (Spawarsyscen) under a new contract worth up to $49 million, company officials announced.

The contract has one base year and four, one-year options.

Alion will provide technical engineering and program management support for modeling and simulation software development.

The work will include computer-generated forces development, software integration tools, systems integration and exercise support.

A team of Alion software engineers, systems engineers and subject matter experts will deliver coding, network engineering, information assurance, scenario development and event execution services for Spawarsyscen Atlantic.

Alion’s teammates on the project include: Aegis, AT&T Government Solutions, Ausgar Technologies, Booz Allen Hamilton, DDL OMNI Engineering, Diamond Data, Dynamics Research Corp., Engenuity, General Dynamics Information Technology, L-3 Services, Inc./C2S2 Division, Network and Simulation Technologies Inc., Northrop Grumman Maritime Mission Systems, Novonics, Raytheon VTC, Referentia, Science Applications International Corp., Valkyrie, and Whitney, Bradley & Brown.
