Raytheon taps Boeing exec for strategy position
Mitch Kugler moves from Boeing to Raytheon to take on corporate strategy position.
Raytheon Co. named Mitch Kugler as vice president of strategy. He most recently was Boeing Co.’s director of advocacy integration for the Integrated Defense Systems business.
At Raytheon, Kugler will report to Thomas Culligan, executive vice president of corporate business development and chief executive officer of Raytheon International Inc.
Kugler’s responsibilities will include working on the company’s strategy, execution, capability assessments and gap analysis, and leading enterprise campaigns, the company said in a statement.
He also will support the corporate finance organization on mergers and acquisition activities.
Raytheon is ranked No. 5 on the 2009 Washington Technology Top 100 list of the largest government contractors.
