General Dynamics Corp. will support the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) and Office of the Surgeon General under a $9.2 million contract.
The three-year award calls for General Dynamics Information Technology to support the Army MEDCOM Lean Six Sigma Concepts and Methodologies program by providing instruction and consulting services to internal organizations for MEDCOM’s director of strategy and innovation.
General Dynamics Information Technology will offer its organizational capabilities, traditionally used with supply chain management, to MEDCOM to achieve the mission success of promoting, sustaining and enhancing soldier health,” Ken Hess, vice president and general manager at GD IT, said in a statement.
