QinetiQ North America has won a five-year contract worth as much as $7.2 million to provide logistics support to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.
QinetiQ North America has won a five-year contract worth as much as $7.2 million to provide logistics support to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.
The Seaport Enhanced (SeaPort-e) contract vehicle calls for the QinetiQ North America’s Systems Engineering Group to assist the Product Distribution Center (PDC) of the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Programs Office Philadelphia.
Under the SeaPort-e contract, the Systems Engineering Group will open an information technology equipment warehouse and provide inventory management, materiel handling, shipping, receiving and quality assurance services, company officials said.
QinetiQ North America also will help the PDC pull C4ISR components from stock for hardware and software integration and shipping to Defense Department sites around the world.
The PDC supports multiple projects through the C4ISR Programs Office, such as the Imagery Product Library, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Deployable Systems, Distributed Common Ground Station, Navy; Coast Guard Deepwater Project; and Coast Guard Mission Planning.
QinetiQ North America, of McLean, Va., ranks No. 34 on Washington Technology’s 2009 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
