Jacobs will provide technical support to Marine Corps
Jacobs Engineering will provide the Marine Corps with technical and other support services under a task order worth $7.3 million.
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. will provide the Marine Corps with technical and other support services under a task order worth $7.3 million.
The award calls for the Dumfries, Va., contractor to provide technical support to the Marine Corps Systems Command, Information Systems and Infrastructure Product Group.
Jacobs Engineering will coordinate schedules, assist with data collection for assets, user requirements management, application inventory and other activities linked to the planned transition and seat cutover, technical refresh schedules and life-cycle sustainment of the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI).
The support will cover major commands across the Marine Corps.
Work will be performed at Quantico, Va., Camp Lejeune, N.C., Parris Island, S.C., Camp Pendleton, Calif., Arlington, Va., San Diego, New Orleans, Okinawa, and several other installations.
The work is expected to be completed in December 2009. The Marine Corps System Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
