DISA extends contracts on DISN network
AT&T, Sprint and Verizon win extension of work on the Defense Information Systems Network.
The Defense Information Systems Agency extended by a year contracts worth a total $38 million with AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Business to provide transmission services for the Defense Department.
DISA is extending the contracts to support the Defense Information Systems Network, originally awarded 10 years ago, to sustain services until it can transition 2,522 circuits from existing contracts, a FedBizOpps notice said.
The contracts with AT&T and Verizon include two additional one-year options, while the Sprint extension includes one additional one-year options.
