Coleman resigns as ManTech president and COO
Robert Coleman, president and chief operating officer at ManTech International Corp., is stepping down from his posts.
Robert Coleman, president and chief operating officer at ManTech International Corp., will step down from his posts on or about June 1.
Coleman will remain a member of ManTech’s board of directors, a company announcement said today.
The next three months will allow for an appropriate transition period, the announcement stated. It gave no reason for Coleman’s resignation.
Coleman was named president and COO in September 2004.
Coleman played a critical role in building ManTech into a $2 billion national security public company and the premier mid-tier defense information technology firm in the marketplace, said George Pedersen, ManTech chief executive officer and chairman, in the announcement. “We wish him success with his future endeavors and are pleased that he will continue on our board of directors.”
“I have the utmost confidence that the strategy we’ve put into place will continue to be successful into the future,” Coleman said. “I look forward to working with ManTech’s executive team on a smooth transition and thereafter in my ongoing role as a member of the board.”
ManTech International, of Fairfax, Va., ranks No. 36 on Washington Technology’s 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
