Northrop exec joins Citizant

New hire will run company's Defense Department business.

Clifford Lowrie will take over the Defense Department business at Citizant, a small-business systems integrator based in Chantilly, Va.

Lowrie spent the last 15 years at Northrop Grumman Corp., where he was most recently the growth manager for the company’s business process solutions division, which had 175 people and pulled in $42 million in annual revenue, Citizant said in a statement.

As the defense division director at Citizant, Lowrie is responsible for defense engagements and the overall growth of the division. Citizant’s defense customers include the Defense Information Systems Agency, Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Air Force, and. Navy. Citizant also is a protégé of Science Applications International Corp. in the DISA Mentor Protégé Program.

Lowrie’s “intricate knowledge of defense systems and policies combined with the ability to discover new opportunities and open doors make him the perfect addition to our leadership team.” said Citizant CEO and co-founder Raymond Roberts in a statement.
