STG International to assist Head Start programs
STG International Inc. has won several contracts totaling $32 million from the Health and Human Services Department to support Head Start programs around the nation.
STG International Inc. has won several contracts totaling $32 million from the Health and Human Services Department to support Head Start programs around the nation.
Through the contracts, STG will furnish state-based training and technical support for Head Start assistance offices in 15 states, company officials said. The agreements cover the states within Head Start Regions IV and IX, and in New York, Illinois and Louisiana.
STG will help those Head Start grantees comply with laws and regulations, build and maintain collaborative partnerships with all levels of government, receive assistance for Head Start program initiatives and special projects, and have access to adequate research materials.
The company was hired by the Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Head Start.
STG International, of Alexandria, Va., specializes in mission-critical and staffing services for the federal government.
