Tyler gets statewide court software deal

Tyler Technologies Inc. will furnish North Dakota's Unified Judicial Branch with software that will expedite the work of the state's district courts under a $6.3 million contract.

Under the contract, Tyler will provide the appropriate software licenses, related professional services, and ongoing maintenance and support.

Tyler's court software, called Odyssey Case Manager, will simplify the management of and access to case information for state district courts, company officials said.

North Dakota's district courts also will get a financial manager product that tracks financial data for court offices, in addition to a public access feature to make court-related information available online to citizens.

Tyler handled similar statewide implementations of its Odyssey software for Indiana, Minnesota, New Hampshire and New Mexico.

Tyler, of Dallas, provides information management solutions for state and local governments.
