Stanley to continue Army software support

Stanley will provide software support to the Army under a two-year task order.

Stanley Inc. will provide software support to the Army under a two-year task order worth $29.5 million.

The award calls for Stanley to continue providing software engineering support for the Fire Support Software Engineering Division of the Army's Software Engineering Center, Command and Control Software Directorate.

The company will provide the support through the Army's Life Cycle Management Command at the Software Engineering Center, which is responsible for providing software engineering services for assigned mission-critical defense systems.

The Software Engineering Center was established in 1996 by combining several information technology offices. It is responsible for software engineering services for assigned mission-critical defense systems, including command, control, communications, and computers, intelligence, electronic warfare, and sensors systems. It also serves as the Army's executive software manager.
