Stanley tackles Marine Corps network support

Stanley Inc. will furnish a variety of key support services for the Marine Corps' Next-Generation Enterprise Network.

Stanley Inc. will furnish a variety of support services for the Marine Corps' Next-Generation Enterprise Network under a three-year, $3.8 million contract.

Under the contract, Stanley will provide technology, programs, management and administrative support of the enterprise network to the Program Manager for Marine Corps Network and Infrastructure Services for NGEN, company officials said. The work also entails systems engineering planning, documentation and oversight of NGEN acquisition activities, they said.

The Marine Corps Systems Command awarded the contract.

NGEN is a global networking environment designed to facilitate collaboration and increase response time through the rapid dissemination of information.

Stanley ranks No. 48 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
