ICF to build Web sites for HHS programs

ICF Inc. LLC will provide a range of services to the Health and Human Services Department stemming from two contracts that have a combined value of $3.9 million.

The Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation at HHS' Administration for Children and Families made the two awards to the ICF International subsidiary.

Under the first agreement, valued at $2.9 million, ICF will support the office's research efforts, including conducting panel reviews, establishing consultant groups, creating materials, and collecting and coding research documents. ICF will serve as a data-coordinating center and will also create and maintain a Web site.

Under the second contract, ICF will plan and manage the office's 10th Head Start National Research Conference scheduled for June 2010. ICF's duties will include planning the event and developing the conference Web site. The contract is estimated at $1 million.

ICF officials said last month that the company had won multiple five-year contracts totaling more than $40 million to provide training and technical assistance to the department's Office of Head Start and its state grantees.

ICF International, of Fairfax, Va., provides consulting and technology services to the government and commercial sectors.
