ESN to validate Navy test and repair system

Engineering Services Network will provide technical services to the Navy under a new deal.

Engineering Services Network Inc. will provide technical support to the Navy under a five-year contract that could be worth as much as $2.9 million.

The Naval Sea Systems Command's Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) made the award under the SeaPort Enhanced contract vehicle. It calls for the company to provide technical services and conduct independent verification and validation of software in the Navy's Module Test and Repair program.

NUWC is the Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems and weapons systems associated with undersea warfare. The center has two major divisions ? one at Newport, R.I., and the other at Keyport, Wash.

ESN, of Arlington, Va., is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business. It provides information technology and business consulting services to the military and other government agencies. Its customers include the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Health and Human Services Department.
