SAIC adds three VPs to technology group

Science Applications International Corp. has named Sarah Allen and Gene Colabatistto senior vice presidents of human resources and program development, respectively, in SAIC's Intelligence, Security and Technology Group. In addition, SAIC executive Joel Richards has been named senior vice president of business development for the group.

The IST Group, one of four at SAIC, provides technology, services and products across the full spectrum of national security programs, including cybersecurity; surveillance and reconnaissance; imagery, signals and operational intelligence; and the development of technologies to support counterterrorism.

Allen joins SAIC from Northrop Grumman Corp., where she served as HR director for the company's Intelligence Group. She will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy that encompasses talent management, organizational development, employee relations, compensation and leadership development.

Colabatistto joins the IST Group having most recently served as president of Olive Group North America, a provider of security operations, training and systems engineering services to federal and commercial customers. As senior vice president of program development, he will be in charge of overall growth strategy, including strategic plan development and mergers and acquisitions.

Richards will lead the business development team in identifying, capturing and bidding on new competitive task orders and large strategic procurements. Richards previously served as vice president of business development for SAIC's Mission Integration Business Unit. Before joining SAIC in 2003, Richards led business development for General Dynamics Network Systems.

The three executives will report to K. Stuart Shea, IST Group president.
