Raytheon team to devise FAA air traffic training
A team led by Raytheon Technical Services Co. LLC will provide training support to the Federal Aviation Administration.
A team led by Raytheon Technical Services Co. LLC will provide training support to the Federal Aviation Administration under a 10-year, $437 million contract.
Under the terms of the Air Traffic Control Optimum Training Solution contract, the Raytheon team will examine the entire air traffic training life cycle and devise new training programs for air traffic controllers.
The team includes Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., Dynamic Sciences Inc., The Fortier Group, CNI Information Technology LLC, Interim Solutions for Government, Chenega Technology Services Corp., University of North Dakota at Grand Forks and Minneapolis Community and Technical College.
Raytheon Technical Services provides technology solutions for defense, federal and commercial customers worldwide. A subsidiary of Raytheon Co., of Waltham, Mass., the company specializes in a wide variety of mission support services.
FAA's Air Traffic Control Optimum Training Solution contract replaces the current FAA field Training Support for Air Traffic and the FAA Academy Instructional Support Services contracts.
