ManTech closes ETG purchase
ManTech International Corp. has completed its acquisition of Emerging Technologies Group.
ManTech International Corp. has completed its acquisition of Emerging Technologies Group Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The company announced its intent to buy the Herndon, Va., computer and network forensics provider Aug. 20.
The Fairfax, Va., systems integrator said it expects ETG to generate fiscal 2009 revenue of about $20 million.
ManTech already is setting its sights on additional cybersecurity work. "[We] believe our combined cybersecurity capabilities position ManTech to capture additional work related to the Comprehensive National Cyber Initiative," said Robert Coleman, ManTech's president and chief operating officer.
President Bush signed National Security Presidential Directive 54 and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 23 in January, establishing the classified program designed to significantly increase U.S. cyber defense efforts.
ManTech ranks No. 36 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
