Hewlett-Packard Co. has closed its $13.9 billionpurchase of integrator giant EDS Corp., basedin Plano, Texas.Ron Rittenmeyer, EDS' president and chiefexecutive officer, will remain head of the newbusiness group, which will include HPTechnology Solutions Group's outsourcing servicesoperations.The transaction will more than double PaloAlto, Calif.-based HP's services revenue of$16.6 billion in fiscal 2007.ManTech International Corp. has boughtHerndon, Va., cybersecurity provider EmergingTechnologies Group Inc.
