Motorola Inc. bought AirDefense Inc., an Atlantadeveloper of wireless local-area network securityproducts and services. Financial terms were notdisclosed.The buy will add wireless intrusion-preventionsolutions to Motorola's network security offerings.Lockheed Martin Corp. is buying Aculight Corp., adeveloper of defense and aerospace laser systems.Financial terms were not disclosed.The Bothell, Wash., company will become a unitof Lockheed Martin's Maritime Systems andSensors business in Akron, Ohio.Raytheon Co. bought Telemus Solutions Inc., aFalls Church, Va., provider of information security,intelligence and technical services to defense,intelligence and other federal customers. Financialterms were not disclosed.The acquisition is Raytheon's latest step towardbuilding a complete information security portfolio,officials at the Waltham, Mass., company said.Boeing Co. bought Insitu Inc., which buildsunmanned aerial systems used for intelligence,reconnaissance and surveillance. Financial termswere not disclosed.The acquisition is part of the Chicago aerospacegiant's strategy to aggressively grow its presence inthe unmanned systems market. Insitu, of Bingen,Wash., will be a subsidiary of St. Louis-based BoeingIntegrated Defense Systems' Military Aircraft unit.Cubic Corp. has finished its acquisition of OmegaTraining Group Inc. Financial terms were notdisclosed.Omega, based in Columbus, Ga., supplies training,testing, analysis, logistics and staffing servicesto the Army. The company will become part of SanDiego-based Cubic's Mission Support BusinessUnit.
