Stanley to continue support for Transportation Command

Stanley Inc. will support a key program administered by the U.S Transportation Command under a four-year, $3 million contract.

Under the terms of the contract, Stanley will provide technical and analysis services for the Sealift, Intermodal, Rail and Airlift Analysis Support program, company officials said.

The company furnishes the Transportation Command with various analysis and support services for the Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement and Maritime Security programs.

To support these programs, Stanley employees help collect and ensure the accuracy of data on U.S.-flag commercial vessels enrolled in the programs. They also deliver analysis related to maritime and rail security, and support the efforts of an intermodal working group and civil reserve air fleet team.

The company, which has worked with the Transportation Command since 1995, performs the work at Fairview Heights and Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.

Stanley, of Arlington, Va., ranks No. 48 on Washington Technology's 2008 Top 100 list of the largest federal government prime contractors.
