CACI wins Army video teleconferencing deal

CACI International Inc. will furnish video teleconferencing services to the Eighth U.S. Army stationed in the Republic of Korea under a $9.5 million contract.Under the terms of the contract, CACI will partner with the Army's Regional Chief Information Office in Korea to provide video teleconferencing capabilities. The video teleconference work will support not only small single-user systems but also multi-screen systems for conference rooms and command centers. CACI will deliver the video teleconferencing services through both classified and unclassified networks.To support Eighth Army personnel and their mission, CACI will also supply informal and classroom training in how to use the video teleconferencing systems.The award builds on the company's existing work with the Eighth Army that covers mission support services related to information management, command and control, intelligence and command center improvements.CACI, of Arlington, Va., ranks on Washington Technology's 2008 of the largest federal government prime contractors.
